Hades is the Lord of the Underworld. Although he appears to have a light sense of humour, it hides a fiery temper and fierce jealousy. He hires Cloud to eliminate Hercules during a tournament at the Coliseum but he fails in this endeavor. However, Hades is scheming to use his own domain, the Underworld, in another dark plot.
